A talented visual artist in her own right, Francine Shore has brought together a diverse group of colleagues of different ages and professions and whose passion transcends mere hobby. Her group show ranges from traditional landscape (Bonnie Gross' Watchtower, Sicily is pictured) and portrait paintings to 3D abstractions of reality, like Susan Wallack's boxes that morph into the shape of various other objects. Some work will be displayed on podiums, in frames, and on paper with architect pens. "[I want to] get to the core of each artist, to allow them to be who they are," Shore says, "to be aware of reality, and to be able to process that reality and translate it into art."
