Lee Marvin is an absolute badass, so he's the perfect fit for mono-monikered killing machine Walker in John Boorman's '60s noir Point Blank. After being cheated out of $93,000 and left for dead by his wife and partner, Walker doesn't want revenge — he wants his money. He's got the Terminator's unstoppability, not unlike Tyrone Tackett (Bernie Casey) of Hit Man, a blaxploitation reworking of Get Carter about a man who'll stop at nothing to avenge his brother's mysterious death. Hit Man also features an early role for a woman who can hold her own in a revenge thriller — Pam Grier.
