Released in March, Montreal duo Handsome Furs' second LP, Face Control (SubPop) is a plague of gritty, sweaty dance-rock. I mean, it's fun as hell, with lots of handclaps, cocky guitars, electronic beats and resilient synths, but it's dark. The infectious-as-a-zombie-bite "I'm Confused" should be this year's hit song at every undead wedding.
