I dunno, I kinda think Donovan understands the city more than he lets on. That's why he doesn't let it get to him.

Shane Victorino gets us and gets crazy in the August heat, much like the city of Philadelphia.
Pete Rose is a lot like us. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Hmm, come on, most of these guys are unreconizable. I'm not from Philly, but I think most people in the area would agree you have completely missed:

Joe Frazier
Steve Carlton
Julius Erving
Moses Malone
Mike Schmidt
Reggie White
Wilt Chamberlin
Carl Lewis
Franco Harris
Reggie Jackson
Earl "The Pearl" Monro
Randell Cunningham
J.D. Drew
T.O. (Hey your the one who posted Barkely)
What the hell, even Rocky.

I like your writing, but your research needs help. Good luck, I'll check back in.

Opps "unrecognizable". It is apparent that my writing needs work.

This is a really poor excuse of a list. It is meaningless and shows no explanation as to why some players are on the list.

horribly done!

Okay, Ben. I'm gonna cut you some slack since you're not from Philly, but let me get you straight on a few of those names.... JD Drew never played in Philly. Although signed by the Phillies, he opted to play elsewhere (DB). Earl "the Pearl" Monro, although born in Philly, played for the Bullets and the Knicks...never the Sixers. As for Carl Lewis, all you have to do is hear him speak to know that he has no ties to Philly at all. Oh, and Franco Harris played at the other end of the state, for the Pittsburgh Steeler (and, incidently, bares a striking resemblance to our editor, Brian Howard). I do agree with the first seven names on your list though. So, well done.
