Jenn Wasner sings from a distance. Her guitar is mixed low, usually buried beneath ribbons of violin or the th-thu-thum-thump of Andy Stack's drums. And then, like a small, furry critter you spot out of the corner of your eye, "I Want for Nothing," from Wye Oak's The Knot (Merge), seizes your attention with a sudden shock and burrows its way into your skull.
