If Match.com, JDate and Missed Connections are too mainstream for your taste, Psydde Delicious' dating event for punks might just pierce your fancy. The founder of Philly's corset-crazed Delicious Boutique — and a self-proclaimed "aging punk rocker" who has a penchant for '70s game shows — structured the game to closely ape the Chuck Barris original. Lucky bachelors and bachelorettes will first answer questions such as, "If I were a safety pin, what part of your body would you put me through?" In the final round, each pair must participate in a punk-themed project, like creating a hairdo out of pipe cleaners and Aqua Net, to see if they're truly a good love match. While most participants were already chosen by an online survey, the game is open for all to watch — and one lucky spectator will be selected as a wildcard contestant, so you may still get a chance to win the heart of a Sid Vicious-styled soulmate. Don't bet on the game being totally hardcore, though: Says Delicious, "There will definitely be a mention of making whoopee."
Fri., Sept. 4, 9:30 p.m., $3, Tritone, 1508 South St., 215-545-0475, tritonebar.com.
