Ah, joke rap. With a daffy affability akin to Biz or Del, nerdy knucklehead Regan Farquhar may be the closest we've got to a hip-hop clown prince for these awkward, anxious times — barring, like, Soulja Boy — but his preposterously dense verbal torrents are spiked with an antsy, angsty undercurrent that's often resoundingly unfunny. Ensnared by his own too-cagey wit, like a sideshow freak in a cage of his own devising, his tongue-twisting antics can make for an unnerving spectacle. But they're spectacular nonetheless.
