Act II Playhouse draws a direct line from Broadway to Ambler with the regional première of Marc Camoletti's hit comedy Boeing-Boeing, 2008 Tony winner for Best Revival. Anthony Lawton plays an American architect living in Paris and engaged to three sexy stewardesses (this being the swingin' '60s, before "flight attendants") played by Kristyn Chouiniere, Jessica DalCanton and Deven Walker. This very farcical, oh-so-French three-timing depends on precise interlocking flight schedules, but an old pal (Tony Braithwaite) causes mayhem. "Think James Bond-style sexiness," says director Harriet Power, "mixed with Marx Brothers or Will Ferrell-esque banana-peel-slipping, door-slamming, madcap physical comedy."
