Resurrection Ale House
2425 Grays Ferry Ave., 215-735-2202, resurrectionalehouse.com

Memphis Taproom/Local 44 owners Brendan Hartranft and Leigh Maida set the grand opening of their third spot for Wed., Sept. 23, at 5 p.m. The couple made over Yello'bar at Catharine and Grays Ferry for Resurrection Ale House, the most food-focused of their beer bars. Of course, they'll do a dozen beers on tap, one beer engine and plenty more in bottles (Founders, Cantillon, De Dolle, etc.), but look out for chef Joe Chmiko, formerly of Union Trust, who'll put out plates like hoisin-braised pork ribs with green cabbage slaw and potato gnocchi with lobster, peas and pancetta. (Sneak-peek the menu Wednesday, full service starts Thursday.) There are also plans for weekend brunch. Opening hours: Mon.-Fri., noon-2 a.m.; Sat.-Sun., 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
