Anti-Jazz: The New Thing Revisited

Taking the name from a disgusted 1961 DownBeat review of a Coltrane show, Ars Nova Workshop commemorates 50 years of free jazz with a Halloween performance by the Sun Ra Arkestra and shows by longtime envelope-pushers Bill Dixon and the Art Ensemble of Chicago, and the Scandinavian-American Circulasione Totale Orchestra.

The Armen Donelian Trio
