If you've ever read anything about Washington, D.C.'s Le Loup, you've probably seen words like "freak-folk" and "ethereal tribalicious soundscapes" and "hypnotic magic carpet trips up a dragon's butthole" but listen: They are actually a band, with fun choruses and plenty of hooks. The new album, Family (Hardly Art), even rocks, rocks hard, in a mushroomy, haunted bonfire kinda way.
