It's been more than 10 years since Trio Clusone — drummer Han Bennink, clarinetist/saxophonist Michael Moore, and cellist Ernst Reijseger — last graced the world with its playful, abstract-swing Dada-jazz. Bennink and Moore have now embarked on a sequel, this time with Will Holshouser, an accordionist who has crossed paths with Anthony Braxton and Antony and the Johnsons. The name seems to put pressure on the new guy, but could just as well refer to Carol Reed's classic film, whose canted Dutch angles would be an appropriate frame for this trio's antics.
