In Grace, Or the Art of Climbing — Miami and Yale Drama playwright Lauren Feldman's latest, discovered by Nice People Theatre Co. — Emm (Rachael Joffred, terrific in last season's Psalms of a Questionable Nature) pursues competitive rock climbing to deal with her father's illness, a painful breakup and depression. While the play explores relationships (and what play doesn't?), it also demands climbing's physical challenges, which designer Caitlin Lainoff will create in the young company's new home, the Power Plant Basement. Pirronne Yousefzadeh, who staged Psalms, directs.

I'm sure this will be memorable. I have been waiting and hoping to see Rachael in Philadelphia again.
