Like punch at a prep-school party, this mixer's most definitely spiked. The focus is on artists still forming their visions, whose works display the buzzing spirit of up-and-coming creators. It's those early sparks, after all, that fire deeper, more complex work down the line. This batch features dance-makers Ami Dowden-Fant, Jennifer Morley and Kate Speer, plus physical theater artist Alie Vidich, whose pieces encompass obsession with fashion, 1950s homemaking, hidden objects and the perils of friendship through circus-inspired cabaret, dreamy dance and much more. Drink up.
