Take a food vacation in Abruzzo at this teaming-up of South Philly's Le Virt and Slow Food Philadelphia. Executive chef Luciana Spurio will guide diners through a four-course meal inspired by the Italian region's traditions. Antipasti options include pecorino croquettes, bruschette and sheep's-milk cheeses served with honey, radicchio and onion marmalade; for the pasta course, Spurio will whip up chitarra in a butcher's ragu. Get DIY drunk with Mémé's second-ever Home Brew event and find your new favorite handmade beer. Attendees will be able to taste and vote on offerings from amateur brewers from around the city, with one ultimately winning "Best in Show."
