The Long Christmas Ride Home

It may sound like a happy play, but it's written by wickedly clever Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive, Hot 'n' Throbbing) — so don't bring the kids. Azuka launches its 10th season with this Philadelphia première about a family on an ill-fated ride to grandma's house in which past, present and future collide. In-demand puppeteer Aaron Cromie directs, combining professional actors (Keith Conallen, Seth Reichgott), Drexel students and bunraku puppetry in what should be a unique theatrical — but not holiday! — experience.
