If you believe Barrymore Awards mean anything — and in this case, you should — you've got to be impressed by People's Light & Theatre Co.'s four for last year's Cinderella: Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, Outstanding Musical Ensemble, Outstanding Original Music (Michael Ogborn) and Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Peter Pryor). The same creative team — including playwright Kathryn Petersen and returning actors Chris Faith, Susan McKey, Christopher Patrick Mullen and Jeff Coon — and Philadelphia favorite Ben Dibble reimagine Snow White in Hollywood this year. The theater's sixth annual original musical panto, like the British tradition that inspired them, incorporates audience participation, silly songs, flying candy, slapstick antics and, of course, the irresistible Mark Lazar in a dress. Where's his award?

Nov. 18-Jan. 3, 2010, $29-$48, People's Light & Theatre Co., 39 Conestoga Road, Malvern, 610-644-3500, peopleslight.org.
