The blue-wigged performers Azure, Perriwinkle and Cobalt (pictured) haven't graced the party scene since 2004's official Blue Ball closing party, but now they're itching for a comeback. In honor of the latter's 50th birthday, the fab trio (Dirk Allen, Glenn Sykes and Dave Rumsey, respectively) have organized a spunky benefit for the Mazzoni Center and Sapphire Fund. Primarily a dance party with music by DJ Susan Morabito, there will also be a surprise performance featuring local arts initiative Smoke, Lilies and Jade. And then the boys promise they're hanging up their wigs for good.
