For the past week, the little hams in Walking Fish's Family Theatre Series have been busy rehearsing. In their first performance of 2010, the kids will interact with two local actors, Michael Tomasetti and Sonja Bingham, as they stage three family-oriented children's books: Catherine Friend's My Head is Full of Colors, Corinne Demas' Always in Trouble and Arthur Dorros' Abuela. Artistic Director Michelle Paul says the emphasis of the program is on having fun. "We try to push the yuk-yuk factor," she says. The joy continues after the curtain drops with a craft session and snacks.
