As we dive into the second decade of the 21st century, we're constantly encouraged to do our part to save the environment — but that can mean more than using energy-efficient light bulbs and reusing grocery bags. We should be recycling our clothing, too. To get a jump-start on this latest trend, go to Hawthorne Yoga & Reiki's clothing swap, which will allow attendees to trade their faintly used duds for other garments, shoes and accessories. Don't hesitate to bring in your Cosby sweaters and shoulder-padded tees — Hawthorne Yoga says any pieces not traded will be donated to South Philly's Circle Thrift.
Sun., Jan. 10, 2-4 p.m., free, Hawthorne Yoga & Reiki, 1241 Carpenter St., 267-593-4962, hawthorneyoga.com.

If you missed the swap, you can donate your things to Circle Thrift Monday thru Saturday 10-6, Sundays 11-5.
We've decided to hold this event quarterly from now on, so check our website for updates, www.hawthorneyoga.com.
Thank you so much!
