Luna Theater Co. hopes to build on the success of Laura Wade's Breathing Corpses — a dark, witty tale of interconnected demises they produced in 2007 — with the American première of the British playwright's acclaimed drama Other Hands, which explores modern technology's effects on human behavior. Explains director Lena Mucchetti, "We find ourselves readily upgrading to the latest and greatest cell phones, mp3 players and computers, easily discarding outdated models in favor of this season's faster, slimmer, shinier versions. What happens if this mentality bleeds into the decisions we make about our personal relationships? What kind of tech support to we have at our disposal when we ourselves malfunction?"
