The members of the bear community may have a reputation for wreaking a little havoc from time to time, but under that tough, brawny exterior lies a sensitive spot for fine art and goodwill. The Liberty Bears of Philadelphia are throwing their fifth annual Art Show to benefit Camp Brightfeather, a summer getaway for children who either have or know someone infected by HIV. Curator Veronica Bound says the exhibition of work from local gay artists (including ink work from Robert Harmon, pictured) features a wide array of mediums, including paint, collage and even edible pasty art. You know they had to throw something naughty in the mix.
