It's finally that time of year: Next Wednesday, the crew at Hawthornes will tap 2010's Sunshine Pils, the sunny seasonal from Tröegs featuring "kicked-up hops" and a golden color that's almost sunny enough to make us forget about all this rain. World Café Live: Grilled Cheese & Craft Beer Tastings

Sat., April 3, 5-8 p.m., $35

We're suckers for weird food holidays, and April holds a weird/most awesome distinction: Head to WCL this weekend, where they're honoring National Grilled Cheese Month with booze paired with grilled cheeses courtesy of Di Bruno Bros. Try four grilled sandwiches relying on sheep, cow and goat's milk cheeses, plus a chocolate dessert course, all paired with selected craft brews (Coronado, Bell's, Green Flash, etc.) and wine. World Café Live, 3025 Walnut St., 215-222-1400, worldcafelive.com.

Easter Bunny Brunch at The Pop Shop

Sun., April 4, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., $10-$20

The Easter Bunny is hopping down to Collingswood to visit our favorite soda fountain. The Pop Shop is running kids' and adults' breakfast buffets in three seatings, so you can get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny while you tuck into grilled cheese, gravy and biscuits, or an order of Bettys (you know, pancakes). Reservations are required for the buffet, but the main dining room is open all day for a la carte picks. The Pop Shop, 729 Haddon Ave,, Collingswood, N.J., 856-869-0111, thepopshopusa.com.
