Spring Awakening: An All-Goat Flight

Quince Fine Foods is showcasing wares from Amazing Acres Goat Dairy in Elverson, Pa., which makes unique goat cheeses like chocolate chevre and banon wrapped in grape leaves. The farm's cheesemaker, Debbie Mikaluk, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss recipes, pairings and more. "420: Everybody Must Drink Stone" at Grey Lodge Pub

Every year, on April 20, we gather to celebrate a number of things, including Carmen Electra's birthday and Marie Curie's 1902 refinement of radium chloride. The Grey Lodge Pub is celebrating these and other 4/20 milestones by hosting a Stone brewing event, where they'll serve the SoCal brewery's Sublimely Self Righteous, Smoked Porter, Arrogant Bastard and more. Uncorked: A Wine Dinner at Valanni

Valanni is hosting a spring wine dinner this Tuesday, pairing five courses from executive chef John Strain with five courses from Hope Family Vineyard. Enjoy an early taste of the season with dishes like fried squash blossoms, grilled langoustines with primavera risotto and strip steak with pickled ramps. Pub & Kitchen at Pumpkin

Pub & Kitchen's Jonathan Adams is packing up his knives and heading a few blocks over to Pumpkin, where he and buddy chef Ian Moroney will collaborate on a four-course seasonal seafood dinner. Expect courses like diver scallop crudo with citrus; perciatelli with Maine sea urchin roe bottarga; and braised snails with crispy sweetbreads. The Great American Bake Sale

Local food bloggers are teaming up this weekend for a charity bake sale outside A Full Plate Cafe, where blogger/baker Elizabeth Halen of Foodaphilia holds court. Try out her cookies 'n' cream whoopie pies, and rejoice in the knowledge that these treats come with an even better aftertaste: every purchase benefits Share Our Strength, a charity dedicated to providing America's underprivileged children with healthy, nutritious food.
