Philly has drag queens out the hoo-hah, but Liberty City Kings' Heather Coutts says drag kings are a rarer breed. She hopes LiCK's third annual Philly Drag King Competition will generate more interest from male impersonators by bestowing a prize to the 'stached individual who can out-dude the rest. Last year's winner, Lance Fennig, and Philly Gay Pride's Fanny Price will score the competitors before granting the final reward: a crown and tool belt. Ticket revenue will benefit the Philly Dyke March in June. Sat., May 22, 7 p.m., $5-$10, William Way Community Center, 1315 Spruce St., 215-732-2220, waygay.org.

Diana Ross After-Party

It's too late to snag a seat at Diana Ross' concert in A.C. commemorating the Mazzoni Center's 30th anniversary, but the revelry continues long after Dirty Di makes her sequined getaway. Join the celebration in Caesar's Diamond Lounge, with hors d'oeuvres, gay jams and an open bar. If you get too schnockered to drive, utilize the free shuttle or discounted hotel rates. In the morning, the lounge will be bumping once again with brunch hosted by drag legend Sandy Beach. Fri., May 21, 10 p.m.-1 a.m.; Sat., May 22, 10 a.m.; $50-$100, Caesar's Atlantic City, 2100 Pacific Ave., 609-348-4411, mazzonicenter.org.

Mazzoni Center Variety Show

As a belated birthday gift, writer/performer Alejandro Morales and pals are putting together a variety show to benefit the Mazzoni Center. A lineup of acts like Sgt. Sass, the Dumpsta Players and literary diva Jaime Fountaine are donating performances for the shindig, which Morales calls the perfect way to see local talent and donate to a great cause. Happy anniversary, Mazzoni! Sat., June 12, 7 p.m., $10, Tabu Lounge, 200 S. 12th St., 215-964-9675, tabuphilly.com.
