Philly Beer Week might appear to be a male-driven happening, but there are plenty of events that give props to female drinkers, too.
JUNE 5.If you're a home brewer, check out Home Sweet Home Brew Ladies Day, where you'll get a 10 percent discount at the shop (2008 Sansom St.) if you mention Beer Week between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. From 2:30 to 5 p.m., put on your fanciest hat and head over to the third annual Ladies Beer Tea at the Belgian Café (601 N. 21st St.). They'll pair five beers with tea sandwiches and other goodies.

Ladies in the limelight include Philadelphia Brewing Co.'s Nancy Barton and Dock Street co-owner Rosermarie Certo. Tix are $25.
JUNE 10.Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Jake's (4365 Main St.) and the next-door Cooper's Wine Bar will host a five-course Ladies of Beer Dinner featuring Whitney Thompson of Victory and Denise Jones of California's Moylan's.
