Elliott and Elizabeth Donius found 58 of these small-town sites, focusing specifically on Soap Lake, Wash.'s four-year quest to build the largest lava lamp. But it's not just a doc about life-size Paul Bunyans or a 40-foot pheasant, but the state of the American small town and creating a one-of-a-kind place to call home.
