If 25 years of collecting, reviewing and archiving music has taught rock music historian Richie Unterberger anything, it's the value of raw, live footage. The author of seven books, his latest on the Velvet Underground, will translate his knowledge to the screen and share 25 rare clips in an era-to-era chronology from rockabilly singer Wanda Jackson to the Japanese all-girl rock band Shonen Knife. Think live, outdoor concert spanning 30-plus years. Unterberger says people expect an "officious guy to be in the front trying to be authoritative," but his presentations strive to be as fun as these ladies' rockin' performances.
