[ flea market ]
For nearly 20 years, Mondo Merchandise's Professor Furry C. Ouch has been encouraging Philadelphia junk hoarders with his annual Bizarre Bazarre, a kooky flea market that features the slew of "crap" (velvet artwork, pinup mags, vintage carnival banners) he's been collecting since the 1950s. The store will be open for business, as well, but everything he lugs onto the sidewalk — with the exception of the '50s Buick — will be marked down as low as 25 cents. "Rather than go to Urban Outfitters or the mall [for holiday shopping]," says Professor Ouch, "you can buy your friends something really kooky, a gift they'll never forget."
