Bundle up with the folks at Washington Crossing Park to re-enact ol' George's iconic crossing of the Delaware. The park offers a bounty of information on the famous fording, and its historians will happily set you straight on the real story. Here's a start: Emanuel Leutze's famous painting of the event took a lot of surprising artistic liberties. Like, a whole lot.
Sat., Dec. 25, 1 p.m., free, Washington Crossing Historical Park, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, 215-493-4076, ushistory.org/washingtoncrossing.
