You'd be hard-pressed to find more erotic jewelry than what Bruce Metcalf's got at Snyderman Gallery this season. Each smartly crafted piece is a clever contemplation on human sexuality. See that prickly ball? What's with the luscious lips resting on a key? Have fun coming to your own conclusions on what it all means. Three additional artists share the space: Doug Herren's chunky ceramic vessels are playful transmographied, quasi-industrial curiosities; Ron Issacs' acrylic and woodworks present detailed trompe l'oeil that conjure magical stories; and Deborah Warner's fiber-based creations are intimate investigations of topographical imagery.
