New Jersey's beloved, unassuming, baseball-loving, cover-happy threesome has been one of indie rock's most dependable bets for well over two decades now, but for their current tour (which kicks off here tonight) they're throwing all that aside and embracing uncertainty: spinning a wheel on stage to determine the format of each performance, with options including a set as their garage-punk alter-egos Condo Fucks or as Dump, the long-running, lately dormant home recording project of bassist James McNew; a selection of songs starting with "S," or a Q&A session. There's also a 12.5 percent chance we'll get to watch Hoboken's heroes re-enact a classic sitcom episode — whether that's a caveat or an enticement is your call.
