Bethany Cosentino (pictured) of Best Coast and Nathan Williams of Wavves were already pretty adorable as 2010's twin champions of hyper-sloppy, hyper-hooky slacker/stoner punky pop, but somehow it made them both infinitely more endearing to learn that those crazy California kids had started snogging. Maybe there's something deeply, universally reassuring about the perfectness of the pairing — heck, even their band names make sense together — or maybe it's just fun to imagine them romping around in a constant weed-fueled daze, leading a life filled with nothing but skateboards, kitty cats and sunshine. It's also nice to think that Williams, with his history of onstage meltdowns and penchant for singing about his own stupidity, might have some better support with his issues, and that Best Coast's moony, lovelorn dreamer (who "hates sleeping alone") has someone to share her bed with — even on tour.
