You know the standard go-green adage "reduce, reuse, recycle," but TerraCycle Inc. founder Tom Szaky has a new, less-alliterative addition to the bunch: upcycling. Unlike recycling, upcycling retools that nasty juice pouch, for example, and converts it into an even better product — imagine a snazzy Capri Sun carry-on. More than just a sustainable enterprise, Szaky's efforts have sparked a legion of 14 million followers who dig his trash talk.
