The Pollinator's Corridor by Aaron Birk

Says Birk of the panels he's chosen to begin his City Paper serialization: "The reader is air-dropped into Chapter Two. Sam and Gretta struggle to clear detritus from a tidal watershed in the South Bronx before planting native shoreline flora." The Pollinator's Corridor is not a graphic novel about clearing abandoned lots, per se; it's about the adventure that results in the process, filtered through Birk's admittedly quirky world view.
