This year, give those on your holiday shopping list the gift of culture with trinkets from the annual Tibetan Arts & Crafts Bazaar. The two-day event features everything from silverwork and books to jewelry and clothing — all handmade by exiled artists from India and Nepal. And if you feel like taking in a little cultural experience of your own, stop by to witness the live creation of a sand mandala by spiritual leader Ven. Losang, or nibble on traditional Tibetan munchies. According to organizer Vicki Cahill, it's a once-a-year opportunity: "Nowhere in the city can you find authentic Tibetan food like this."
