PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF JEWISH ART, Congregation Rodeph Shalom, 615 N. Broad St., 215-627-6747. THE FBI FILES, Features the work of Arnold Mesches, who discovered in 2000 that he had been the subject of FBI surveillance from 1945 to 1972 and that many acquaintances he had met over those years were actually FBI agents. Mesches' shock and rage at this invasion of privacy was turned into this exhibit, with redacted copies of the files blown up and distorted, alongside newspaper clippings, photographs, paintings, drawings and other items that make the files an "illuminated manuscript.."
